Teacher Aide
We're looking for an enthusiastic, kind, and patient person who wants to make a difference in a child’s day at preschool. We are not a daycare center. Our staff works a 10-month school year and has the option of working 3 weeks for summer camp (pt). perfect opportunity for someone who wants to be home on break with their own children. Full time 8:30am - 3:30pm M-F or part time 8:45am - 12:45pm/ 9:00am - 12:00pm M-F

Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and positive learning environment for students and other staff members.
- Implement and engage students in age-appropriate centers.
- Positive interaction with children: play, sing, dance, build, do art projects, get messy/gooey, play outside and in the gym.
- Use positive teaching techniques including modeling, assisting when needed, and praising good behaviors.
- Use appropriate tone and language when communicating with children.
- Ability to build relationships with children and families.
- Sanitize and clean toys, tabletops, and all other surface areas of the classroom.
- Keep the classroom well maintained, neat, and organized daily.
Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- engaging children in small and large group activities
- taking direction from lead teacher
- implementing plans
- interact with children and parents
- maintain professionalism and confidentiality standards, all while providing a safe and nurturing environment for the students.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
