About PAI Pharma

Summary
Supervise activities related to maintenance and preventative maintenance programs to ensure building equipment is running properly. Enforce cGMP, safety, security, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise approximately 15 mechanics and provide training across 3 manufacturing facilities during night operations.
- Review maintenance and schedule work requests through Blue Mountain CMMS.
- Review maintenance and repair work to ensure production lines are running smoothly.
- Utilize Blue Mountain Computer maintenance management system to optimize equipment uptime through scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Maintain & order supplies, parts, and equipment through Red Prairie Logistic System to meet the department’s needs.
- Perform hands-on maintenance tasks and assist maintenance workers with difficult jobs.
- Collaborate with Project Engineering to design, specify, plan, implement, and commission capital projects and ensure the delivery of project scope is on time and on budget.
- Support technical training and development of mechanical/electrical maintenance staff. Develop and manage a training plan and training matrix for all direct hires.
- Monitor safety conditions and take charge of safety accident scenes while awaiting further help from first responders.
- Investigate and write safety and quality investigation reports relating to equipment issues and those that pertain to maintenance personnel.
- Maintain employee work schedules including timecard approval, work assignments, job rotation, vacations and paid time off.
- Evaluate the performance of direct reports and prepares and gives performance reviews accordingly.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Job Requirements
- 10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience.
- Working knowledge of equipment in maintenance, manufacturing, and high-speed packaging areas.
- Proven ability to facilitate meetings.
- Self-motivated individual with good organizational and communication skills.
- Strong leadership and coaching/team building skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and Power point).
- Previous pharmaceutical, food, or beverage manufacturing experience preferred.
- Previous CMMS experience preferred.
