Busy interventional pain management practice is seeking a Full-Time back medical assistant for our Sugar Land office.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Both clinical skills AND clerical skills are necessary
- Clinical skill requirements include: ability to triage patients for chief complaint and HPI
- Obtain vital signs
- Document and update patient history and medications in the electronic medical record
- Clerical skills include taking clear messages and returning patient phone calls and schedule appointments
- Prior authorizations (medications and MRIs)
- Schedule outpatient procedures
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
