We are hiring for a Healthcare Security Program Manager in West Monroe, Louisiana.
The pay for this position is $20.00 /hour !

Job Description
REPORTS TO: Resident Manager
The Security Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the security operations of the assigned portfolio. The Security Program Manager reporting to the Director of Operations will provide leadership and oversight of the assigned PalAmerican team (Supervisors and Officers) in developing and maintaining security policy & procedures, ensure training standards are met, coordinating strategies to support the program, and providing coaching and mentorship to all security staff to support a safe and secure workplace for patient, staff, clients and visitors.
TYPICAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Acts as the primary representative for PalAmerican Security employees within the assigned portfolio.
Assists in developing, implementing, maintaining and evaluating an overall security program within the portfolio, including Security plans, Policy & Procedure Manuals, and OSHA programs.
Conducts data analysis and provides recommendations for security and safety improvements in keeping with industry best practices. Ensures compliance with applicable Joint Commission, or other accreditation body, environment of care standards.
Initiates, facilitates, and promotes activities to foster security awareness within the organization; assists in developing hospital-wide security programs by delivering and supporting educational security in-services.
Acts as the security resource for the organization, where appropriate, in all matters including but not limited to Joint Commission Accreditation.
Follows the organizations guidelines and policies related to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), designed to prevent or detect unauthorized disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI).
Provides leadership to the security team within the assigned portfolio, overseeing the selection, scheduling, training, coaching, mentoring and overall support for Supervisors and Security Officers.
Assures all required training is completed on schedule and maintains all personnel files consistent with Joint Commission requirements.
Ensures site-based contractual obligations including meeting contract key performance indicators (KPI’s) are met and fulfilled, including but not limited to, fulfilling all staffing requirements with a 100% shift fill rate.
Provides quality assurance oversight of all reporting, including incident reporting.
Coordinates the portfolio’s site reporting to client organization(s)
Assists in preparation and management of the budget assigned for the portfolio and maintains a healthy margin.
Conducts annual performance reviews of all direct reports.
Responsible for performance management and discipline of all direct reports.
Provides after-hours support for Security Operations within the portfolio, including providing emergency response to sites.
Maintains a regular communication and positive business relationship with the client organization’s key stakeholders at the site level
Professionally represent PalAmerican at industry events.
Identify business development opportunities within the healthcare security market.
Performs other duties as required.
Required Qualifications of the Program Manager, Healthcare:
Education and Experience
Successful applicant should have a minimum of 5 years security experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity, or a combination of experience and relevant education (preferably in a healthcare environment). Applicants must also have a valid Driver’s License and a vehicle that will be used for work purposes. Preferably has experience with LSBPSE (Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners). A diploma in Security Management, Criminology, Health Care Administration or related discipline would be considered an asset.
