PalAmerican is a growing security company, operating in over 16 states! We specialize in providing security solutions for healthcare, commercial, industrial, educational, and government facilities. Our dedicated management team is comprised of security professionals who have years of experience in the field – many of whom started as Security Officers!

We are hiring for  Security Officers at a facility in South Jordan, UT! 

Schedule:  Sun 07a-19p and Wed-Fri 8:30a-4:30p

This position pays $18.00 per hour, plus benefits.

Job Skills / Requirements

What You’ll Do

• Maintain the security and safety of your site through regular patrol
• Maintain a physical presence within the facility
• Actively enforce rules, regulations, policies and procedures
• Respond to emergency situations that require security assistance
• Provide an empathetic approach to managing any escalated persons and situations
• Keep accurate logs throughout your scheduled shift
• Respond to reported incidents as necessary
• Monitor a closed-circuit television for potential issues

What You Need

• Comfortable with standing/walking for extended periods of time
• Provide exceptional customer service, with an exceptional smile.
• Have strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills
• Have keen attention to detail
• Prior security experience is considered an ASSET
• Minimum age of 18 years old
• Valid Security License is Required!
• First and Third Shift Availability is Requied!
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is Required
