Quick Lube Technician

This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your "Customer First" mentality as you will be responsible for providing quick lube and additional associated services in a professional and courteous manner to our valued customers.

In this role, your various duties will include providing Courtesy Services, engaging in Upper and Lower Bay duties and growing your knowledge of automobiles. Our future team members will have a great "can do" attitude, be detailed oriented, committed to "quality" and have a strong work ethic. You must be comfortable speaking with customers, be eager to learn new skills and grow your knowledge in a very fast pace environment.

A first year Technician should expect to earn a minimum of $30,000 annually. Some will advance quickly and have the opportunity to earn more. You will learn the excellent customer service skills needed to execute Oil Exchange procedures with every customer. Our curriculum combines state-of-the-art computer-based instruction with supervised on-the-job training and proficiency examinations to help our Lube Technicians become skilled in meeting customer maintenance requirements.

Our Lube Technicians work with their hands on cars by changing oil and filters, adding fluids, checking tire pressure, washing windows, etc. Skills helpful in this role:

- Be able read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

- Be able to verbally communicate effectively with customers and employees

- Be able to lift, hold and carry 20 lbs or more throughout the shift as well as bend, climb and stand for extended periods without assistance or significant breaks

- Be able to operate a motor vehicle with automatic and/or standard transmission

Our Lube Center locations are not climate controlled so our Technicians must be able to enter and work in extreme hot and cold temperatures as well as tolerate exposure to fumes, chemicals and cleaning products. Prior automotive and/or retail experience is preferred but not necessary.
