Palfinger USA, LLC is currently seeking Internal Candidates for our Tiffin Ohio Branch for the Position listed below. This position will be located onsite. The qualified candidate will report directly to the Parts Department Manager.
Responsibilities
- Properly create, fulfill, receive, dropship, and process payment and invoices for customer orders using Palfinger ERP system.
- Create purchase orders and receive invoices for parts purchasing.
- Data Entry tasks using Excel and other company reporting systems.
- Work directly with the materials group to ensure accuracy of inventory and participate in other inventory related projects.
- Work with production and service departments to identify custom parts.
- Prepare quotes for customers utilizing price lists, and external vendor contacts/websites.
- Speak with customers on the phone, in person at the parts counter, through e-mail, and text message to determine required parts.
- Develop working knowledge of Palfinger product lines including PK knuckle boom cranes, PW wallboard cranes, EPSILON timber cranes, and truck mounted forklifts.
- Participate in developmental projects alongside parts department manager and other parts personnel to improve department revenue and profitability.
- Support other department members with administrative duties, shipping/receiving tasks, and any other special parts department duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Must be comfortable working in a team environment.
- Customer service experience preferred.
- Must be willing to be versatile and willing to learn all Part Department roles and duties.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email).
- Must be detail oriented.
- Must be able to read and decipher parts manuals and parts breakdowns.
- Must have strong problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Must have strong time management skills to properly prioritize and complete daily tasks.
- Must be able sit, stand, bend, squat, crouch, reach and lift 75lbs for extended periods of time.
- Preferred 3 years parts experience in automotive or related industry (heavy equipment a plus).
