Coordinate, conduct, and track various training to support company programs
Lead LOTO Program
Coordinate / Perform periodic safety Inspections
Managed Contractor Safety Program
Coordinating / conduct continuous improvements projects
Conduct and / or coordinate job safety analysis, industrial hygiene, and other hazard and risk analysis (JSA/JHA)
Conduct routine safety observations to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, company environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures and practices
Conduct accident / near miss investigations and root cause analysis and may make resolution recommendations. Implement corrective/preventative actions and continuous improvement activities as advised. Maintain various reporting systems and provides safety analysis as required
Completing miscellaneous projects and assigned duties
Handling hazardous and non hazardous chemicals and waste
Respond to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety/security concerns Minimum Qualifications:
1 year direct experience in Environmental, Health and Safety activities or Associate or Bachelor Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Environmental Management or related field
Knowledge of Federal, State and Local laws and regulations as they relate to the Environmental Health and Safety Program is a plus
Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office applications
Proven ability to work independently with attention to detail and interpersonal abilities
Superior analytical/ problem solving, written and verbal communications
Experience working with local regulatory agencies preferred
Ability to be on call or work off hours as needed Position Competencies:

Must be well organized, highly detailed oriented and accuracy driven.
Demonstrates initiative and motivation.
