Looking for your next challenge in a fast-growing company active in the Life Sciences Industry? We are searching for an individual for the Technical Engineering Support Manager. As the Technical Engineering Support Manager you will lead all aspects of scheduling and resource planning of the PASS systems manufacturing process which includes; system assembly, software installation, support of testing, SFAT, PFAT, FAT, SAT and final crating and shipping preparations. You'll provide direction, support and training to the organization. W ork with Sourcing/Purchasing to evaluation subcontractors from a technical perspective. Provide input and recommendations for continues improvement activities. Support and organize Shop floor maintain 5S level. You'll also be responsible for leading a group of dedicated & talented individuals on the Technical Engineering team.
Essential Functions:
Schedule technical support for PASS projects during execution of SFAT, PFAT, FAT and SAT in order to meet schedule.
Support Standard System build, test and Ship plan
Arrange Support for Project Plans, Project Managers and customers during execution of SFAT, PFAT, FAT and SAT with instrumentation, electrical and mechanical assistance.
Arrange support for troubleshooting assistance and root cause analysis during FAT and SAT.
Manage/schedule electrical, mechanical and software contractors working on skids in PASS area.
Ensure a safe environment of personnel working in FAT area and workshop and manage chemical inventory.
Support SFAT and the download/upload of software to PLC systems (Rockwell & Wonderware).
Ensure for all test equipment being used during FAT/SAT is calibrated and certification documents are available.
Provide technical training for PE/PM’s, Technical Engineers and Production Technicians and others as required.
Provide APS-01, EPS-01 and I/O list documents for TOP binders.
Support Documentation group on Projects by identifying proper certifications
Assist incoming inspection with verification of components as required.
Support Facilities with incoming and outbound equipment needs.
Support Quality with NCR’s requirements
Who you are:
BS degree in a scientific or engineering subject area. A combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of this degree.
7-10 years of experience working in a cGMP environment.
Calibration Software knowledge.
Knowledge of GMP’s, GAMP, Validation, IQ/OQ Commissioning, SAT, FAT, SOP, SOI, FDA, OSHA.
PLC Software & Hardware Troubleshooting.
Experience with AS-I, Profibus, Device Net and Hart Communication Protocols.
Solid understanding of Rockwell, Wonderware and other programs.
Familiarity with software such as Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, SAP, CAD and Lotus Notes
Ability to understand Component Lists, Electrical Schematics, P&ID’s (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), Fabrication Drawings, Piping Isometrics and General Arrangement Drawings.
Ability to work with a technical staff and customers with varying experience levels.
Ability to operate in an environment with strict timelines in a matrixed, project based organization.
