1st Shift-Manufacturing Department Supervisor - PalletOne

PalletOne, a national wood products manufacturer is seeking a dynamic individual with demonstrated success leading people and processes in an industrial manufacturing setting to be a Production Supervisor. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the successful candidate will be a significant contributor to the plant’s leadership tasked with managing one or more departments and 20 – 50 staff. He or she will be responsible for all aspects of the department(s) including planning, scheduling, training, budgeting, and safety.

Production Supervisor Required Experience:

• 5 – 7 years of manufacturing experience
• 3 – 5 years of leading and managing a team or crew
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook

Production Supervisor Preferred Experience:

• Manufacturing experience in the lumber or wood fiber industry
• Experience leading a department with a positive culture
• Conversational Spanish

• Understanding of production planning, logistics and equipment maintenance.
• Understanding of manufacturing operations and maintenance.
• Broad understanding of safety systems and enforcement of housekeeping, safety rules, and policies.
• A commitment to work closely with the HR and Safety Professional to provide a safe workplace for our employees.
• Time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to be adaptable and flexible.
