What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant Substitutes position at Palmer Public Schools?
Experience working in a professional office, preferably a school office. Excellent computer, communication, accounting and organization skills. Experience with a computer-based student information system, MUNIS, Excel, Word, email and managing multiple electronic calendars strongly preferred.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
1. The ability to work effectively with administration, teachers, school staff, students and parents.
2. Accurate, pro-active and thorough management of all assigned data entry, including the student information system, student records, and computer-based record keeping and documentation.
3. Coordinate daily assignments for school aides and schedule substitutes as needed, including the use of paraprofessionals to aides to cover as needed.
4. Responds to questions and requests by school staff, students and parents.
5. All other duties as assigned by the principal.
The salary for this position is: to be determined based on experience.
All positions are subject to qualifications, duties and rates of compensation presently in force, and subject to appropriate funding.
