We're seeking a Paralegal who is strategic, self-motivated, and process-oriented thinker who can efficiently assist in-house attorneys with a wide array of labor and employment law compliance, pre-litigation, and litigation matters for a nationwide retailer. This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, an interest in innovating the legal department using technology, and creative problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Assist lead attorney in managing day-to-day labor and employment pre-litigation and litigation portfolio from inception through trial and appeal.
- Assist counsel by utilizing core paralegal competencies (e.g., investigations, legal research, pre-litigation practice, all aspects of discovery, motions, pleadings, depositions, subpoenas, trial, appeal, mediation, arbitration, and negotiation).
- Effectively manage matters within Camping World's case management platform, including ensuring matters have all information entered and are timely updated.
- Maintain an efficient and organized work environment to effectively meet attorneys' and businesses' daily needs and changing requests.
- Develop and manage processes to improve operational effectiveness and productivity, including playbooks, workflows, policies, and standard operating procedures, leveraging technological solutions and relationships with prospective and existing vendors as warranted.
- Manage, maintain, and organize internal records and files for the litigation team, including litigation files and litigation team operations documents (e.g., reports, forms, and templates) in a uniform and consistent format.
- Complete other duties and projects assigned by the legal department.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to curate and maintain professional and meaningful client relationships and to collaborate with others in a team environment.
- Skilled in both written and verbal communication with legal and nonlegal professionals.
- Skilled in critical thinking and able to question and further pursue knowledge.
- Skilled in leading and facilitating both in-person and virtual meetings with stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize and manage workload and simultaneous tasks while meeting deadlines in a changing, fast-paced environment while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree, or certificate in paralegal studies or other relevant legal education or significant paralegal experience, preferably at a large firm or in-house legal department and preferably in labor and employment law.
- Knowledge of or interest in labor and employment law, including discrimination and retaliation, harassment, wage and hour laws, state and federal agency enforcement, and litigation.
