Four (4) years of professional experience in Communications and/or Public Relations required. Professional experience in a nonprofit sector preferred. A combination of education and experience in marketing, public relations, communications,
and/or fundraising will be considered.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides support to the organization in four key areas: Advertising & Marketing Campaign Strategy & Execution; Marketing Collateral & Promotional Material Design; Video Production; and Event Planning.
- Supports Director of Marketing with the creation and execution of all advertising and marketing materials in line with organizational campaigns and allocated budgets.
- Designs and produces marketing collateral and promotional materials in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) programs.
- Leads the execution of in-house organizational video projects, to include mission spotlights, award winner videos, etc. This includes videography, audio, and editing all of all videos (via Final Cut Pro). Experience with DSLR camera equipment is desired.
- Assists with the development and management of the organization's website, social media, and blog creative content.
- Assists in the development and execution of all events.
- Complies with Agency policies, procedures, and safety standards throughout work areas; maintains same to meet CARF, Department of Labor, and other regulatory standards.
- Performs other job-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications

- Read and interpret complex documents, information, requirements, etc.
- Research from various sources (including internet), gather, and analyze data as it relates tomarketing strategies, marketing material design, video production, event planning, etc.
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule forms.
- Think strategically and execute plans to completion.
- Utilize videography and video editing software (e.g. Final Cut Pro).
- Maintain the ability to successfully handle competing priorities.
- Respond effectively and efficiently to inquiries and/or complaints.

- Write publications, press releases, and other marketing materials, using agency style and innovative techniques.

- Perform rate, ratio, and percent calculations; draw and/or interpret bar graphs.
- Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
Must have:
- Proven record of experience with marketing and advertising strategies, promotional material design, video production, event planning, etc.
- Proven experience in event management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.).
- Proficient writing skills, with focus on correct style, grammar, punctuation, syntax, and content.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple project needs simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Enthusiasm for the mission of the organization.
- A valid driver's license and automobile insurance acceptable to Goodwill's liability insurance carrier; frequent travel is required.
- Schedule flexibility for evening meetings, special events, weekend events, etc.
- Prior experience working in a nonprofit environment.
- Prior experience with website and graphic design.
- Strong understanding of marketing techniques, creative strategic solutions, understanding of target audiences, etc.
