About the Role:
The Vice President of Trade Relations has responsibility for overseeing the company’s trade relations activities, to include negotiating and managing contracts with distributor partners, GPOs and other vendors. This role will also be responsible for managing the company’s rebates as well as maintaining beneficial relationships with drug manufacturers, and other vendor partners to promote the strategic priorities of Palmetto Infusion.
Schedule: Monday – Friday; 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Location: Can work from home or any location.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in the trade aspect of the pharmaceutical industry with demonstrated experience managing sell or buy side relationships with key industry manufacturers and distributors.
- Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.
- Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.
- Develops and maintains strong relationships with manufacturers, vendors, and industry partners. Handles all quarterly business reviews with manufacturer, distributor, and GPO partners.
- Accountable for rebate contracting and pricing negotiations with manufacturers, distributors, GPOs and other vendors. Works with Finance team to ensure appropriate rebate structures are in place and monthly accruals are tracked correctly.
- Maintains and updates at least quarterly a comprehensive pricing matrix to ensure Purchasing and Finance have accurate pricing information for all drugs and supplies. Works with the Procurement team to ensure contracted pricing matches POs and invoices.
- Works with Finance team and Senior Director of Purchasing to ensure quarterly purchasing plans based on committed quantities and rebate structures are established in a timely manner.
- Tracks pricing and advises Finance and senior leadership on opportunities for strategic purchasing ahead of quarterly price increases.
- Assists in the analysis and launch of new drugs and product lines. Provides accurate pricing and reimbursement information for new drugs for key decision makers.
- Maintains contractual agreements with all vendor partners and keeps current versions of all agreements on company shared drive.
- Represents Company at Trade Shows and Industry Conferences.
- Assists in sourcing new data agreements and participating in quarterly business reviews for existing data agreements.
