Due to our growth and commitment to safety, PAM Transport is currently seeking a Road Tester/Driver Trainer for our Irving, TX, facility.
This full time position offers:

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate PAM Transport policies, Federal Motor Carrier Regulation, and Department of Transportation Regulations
- Observe driving techniques in highway and urban driving conditions and parking areas
- Provide guidance in the mechanical operations of tractors and trailers
- Ensure the safety rules are followed at all times during operation of PAM Transport, Inc. equipment while under their supervision
- Record results of road tests
Skills that will help you succeed in this role include:
- Possesses a current Class A CDL or have past driving experience that required a Class A CDL
- Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to observe and report drivers’ actions during their road tests
- Ability to remain calm, alert, and cope with stresses of traffic
- Ability to take control of a situation and/or the vehicle as needed
- Create a friendly and positive atmosphere conducive to testing

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
