Team Member Job Description
Hourly Rate:
$14.50-$15.50 (Plus an average of $2.50 per hour extra in tips, based on last year’s tip average.)
Employment Type:
We are hiring for part-time and/or full-time, non-exempt, hourly positions.
Supervision Received:
This position reports to and works under the store manager or his/her designee, who assigns duties and reviews work for effectiveness according to established work standards.
Supervision Exercised:
This is a non-supervisory position. Lead work/coordination of the work of others is not a typical function assigned to this position. Individuals in this position may provide training to newly assigned personnel.
Position Summary:
Team Members are responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking customers’ orders, preparing every line ingredient to recipe, and cooking every menu item to recipe. In addition, Team Members will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized restaurant space throughout the workday.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Invite and welcome customers into our restaurant space.
· Provide excellent customer service to customers’ while they make their orders.
· Accurately process customers’ orders through our point-of-sale system.
· Process and manage orders from our online services.
· Ensure all orders are complete before delivery to the customer.
· Employees over 21 will be responsible to pour beer and wine.
· Respond to customer inquiries or issues in a courteous and respectful manner.
· Communicate with fellow team members to ensure the accuracy of every order.
· Prepare every line ingredient to recipe.
· Cook every menu item to recipe.
· Maintain a clean and sanitized restaurant space according to company and health department standards.
· Clean and sanitize tables and chairs after guests leave.
· Dishwashing.
· Unload delivery truck supplies and place items in the proper storage area.
· Empty trash containers and take cardboard to the dumpster.
· Complete assigned workstation cleaning checklist every shift.
Experience:
Preferred one year of proven restaurant experience or any combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Company Standards:
· Regular attendance and punctuality is a requirement of this position.
· Possess and keep current any licenses or certifications that are required for the job (E.g., San Bernardino food handler certificate).
· A professional and courteous manner and an ability to work harmoniously with other employees, customers, and the general public.
· Follow company personnel and safety procedures.
· Accept and perform other work as assigned.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Ability to provide excellent customer service.
· Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
