What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loader position at Panera Bread?
We currently have openings for Food Manufacturing Checker/Loaders at our Fresh Dough Facility in Norcross, GA. Here we make the bread, bagel, and roll dough that is delivered fresh to our local bakery-cafes, 7 days a week. Experience in food production or similar manufacturing/warehousing would be helpful but is not required. These are full-time positions which are scheduled to start between 8am-4:30pm and will require working weekends and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities:
· Loading full bakery cabinets onto trailers for dispatch and verifying the correct quantities are being loaded.
· Removing empty cabinets from trailers, removing empty trays from cabinets, and sweeping cabinets clean.
· Keeping loading area safe, clean, and organized (clean as you go)
· Preparing cooler with cabinets for morning production and any other tasks required towards the timely completion of the shift.
Requirements:
· Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. on a regular basis
· Able to stand on your feet throughout the shift
· Ability to work in a fast paced environment
· Experience working in a manufacturing or wholesale bakery environment would be preferred, but not required.
· Familiarity with GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices), food safety and sanitation (i.e. HACCP, AIB,SQF), etc. is a plus.
· Ability to work with limited supervision
· Must pass pre-employment checks
· Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays.
