Key Responsibilities
This driven Engineering Technician will support and manage our radar-based sensor solutions. Specific tasks include:
- Carryout assembly and maintenance of new and existing product inventory including:
Basic soldering (mostly through-hole. some SMT),circuit testing, use of basic workshop tools (drill press, band saw, etc.), cable and wire harness assembly(Molex and Lemo connectors), and maintenance of equipment involving electrical components.
- Order components to populate circuit boards(knowledge of electrical components)
- Work with other teams to coordinate equipment scheduling/shipping
- Troubleshoot real-time equipment issues with customers
- Production assembly operations on electrical and mechanical sub-assemblies
- Technical writing for documentation such as SOPs and test procedures.
- Travel to customer locations to provide field support for equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum Associate's degree and 3 years of experience (certifications are a plus).
- Experience assembling, soldering, and maintaining electrical components.
- Familiarity with PCBs and basic hand tools( drill press, band saws, etc.) and mechanical work.
- Familiarity with ordering parts( procurement/inventory).
- Process oriented and adept at keeping things organized and running smoothly.
