Position: Corporate Controller

Panex, LLC, is an oil and gas development company located in Bowling Green, KY. Panex and its affiliates are currently seeking a Corporate Controller to work directly with management and its outside CPA.
Education and experience required:
- College – 4 year degree
- Experience – 5 years’ work experience in accounting
- Prior work experience must have included being responsible for the financial statements
Job Description:
1. Overall responsibility for financial statements for multiple entities. a. Provide financial package to outside CPA and management for review and reporting of profit
& loss by entity by 15th of each month. b. Provide final year end financials to CPA for the preparation of the annual tax return.
2. Accounting for partnership Turnkey Contracts.
3. Budgeting and Cash flow management – reports to management and outside CPA a. Segregation of cash for wells of each turnkey contract until contract fulfilled. b. Cash flow forecast and cash transfers need to provide for monthly overhead payments from each operating entity. c. Maintain statement of fixed operating overhead for review by management and outside CPA.
4. Responsible for drilling & completion costs, plus the monthly lease operating expenses for producing wells and the related joint interest billing to the rightful owners responsible for such costs in each well according to the individual well working interest ownership.
5. Responsible for revenue distribution to the owners of the net revenue interest for each individual well.
6. Responsible for all partnership entities including the recording of initial contributions, the recording of the turnkey contract price, the receipt of oil and gas revenues, the payment and expense of lease operating expenses, and the distributions to partners in accordance with the partnership agreements.
7. Overseeing the accounting and financial reporting for Saltwater Disposal facilities.
8. Assist in the preparation of necessary reports and revenue distribution statements as necessary to all owners.
9. Review all entries monthly from accounts payable to assure recorded correctly.
10. Responsible for the timely payment of all payables.
11. Responsible for review of monthly bank reconciliations
12. Responsible for monthly allocation and billing of overhead between affiliated entities for proper matching of revenues and expenses.
13. Monthly reconciliation of all intercompany accounts.
14. Other projects necessary for management of the business as requested by management and the outside CPA.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
