Job Description
Working closely with Pangiam Sales and Pangiam Product development Team, the Presales Engineer is the technical and sales point of contact for our clients and prospects. A technical engineering and entrepreneurial mind‐set as well as a very strong motivation to seize a challenging opportunity and succeed are necessary to be successful in this role.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and ensure coordination and communication between sales, technical support, and engineering teams.
• Perform presales technical evaluation of the customer's requirements and systems architecture in close collaboration with sales representative.
• Provide remote and in person product demonstrations for potential customers.
• In partnership with customer account team, develop technical proposals, presentations, and proof of concept applications to meet customer requirements.
• Perform software product installation, configuration, and maintenance for the customers
• Participate in, and, eventually, lead, PoCs and implementation projects
• Document and maintain support cases in the knowledge base for global support team
• Work with Marketing Team to develop collateral
• Attend Conferences and trade shows as technical exert
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Five years of industry experience, including two or more years in sales engineering or consulting
- Proven technology skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Positive, service-oriented personality
- US Citizenship
- Willingness to travel
Technical Skills:
• Excellent foundation in computer science, algorithms, and web services design
• Experience in DevSecOps using CI/CD pipelines for development and deployment of software
• Experience writing highly secure serverless cloud-based applications that leverage Infrastructure as Code approach using AWS core technologies
• Professional experience in designing RESTful APIs, business logic using various programming languages: JavaScript, Java, Python
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Familiar with user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environment
