Description
The Regional Clinic Manager is responsible/accountable for leading and managing Panorama Orthopedics and Spine Clinics in their respective region, North, Golden or South region. It is the Regional Clinic Managers’ role to exemplify and set the expectations of PANO’s mission, goals, and budget and performance standards for their clinics and to communicate it to staff, by utilizing knowledge of organization policies, procedures and systems. The Regional Clinic Manager will use skills in planning, organizing, delegating, and supervising, and must work effectively with physicians, staff, patients, public and external agencies. In addition, the Regional Clinic Manager will use skills in gathering and interpreting data in the PANO physician office setting and must have ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving expertise. The Clinic Manager will be responsible for managing daily activities, ensuring efficient patient flow, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a positive patient experience. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a deep understanding of how physician practices operate.
Responsibilities
1. Operational Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the orthopedics clinic, including patient scheduling, staffing, and facility management.
- Develop and implement efficient workflows to optimize patient and provider flow and maximize productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, OSHA, and relevant healthcare laws.
2. Staff Leadership and Development:
- Build and maintain a culture of high performance and quality patient care among staff and providers
- Recruit, hire, and train clinic staff, including medical assistants, administrative personnel, and support staff.
- Provide ongoing supervision, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure staff members meet performance goals and deliver high-quality patient care.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.
- Serve as the first line of escalation for provider issues, resolving them quickly and professionally
3. Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the clinic budget, including revenue projections, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
- Implement strategies to maximize revenue, minimize expenses, and optimize profitability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve financial targets.
4. Patient Experience and Provider Satisfaction:
- Ensure that patients receive exceptional care and service throughout their clinic experience.
- Implement patient satisfaction initiatives, gather feedback, and address any concerns or complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Drive doctor satisfaction by collaborating with providers and clinical staff to identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions accordingly.
5. Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement:
- Implement quality assurance measures to ensure compliance with clinical protocols and standards of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, conduct regular audits, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, patient outcomes, and overall clinic performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare management, with specific experience in orthopedics preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in healthcare information systems and electronic medical records (EMR) software.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in clinic management.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring a positive patient experience.
Salary: $65k to $125k/annually
