As a High Explosives (HE) Manufacturing Engineer, the candidate will be the Subject Matter Expert on HE component manufacturing processes. This individual will be part of a team that is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving procedures for the manufacturing of HE components and/or the surveillance and gauging of HE components. This position will primarily focus on Coordinate Measuring Machines, to include programming, procedure development, and daily interaction and troubleshooting for CMM work in the HE Manufacturing areas.

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/computer engineering with a minimum 3.0/4.0 cumulative GPA: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
- OR Master's degree in mechanical/electrical/computer engineeringwith a minimum 3.3/4.0 cumulative GPA: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- OR PhD with a minimum 3.5/4.0cumulative GPA
- Engineering degrees should befrom an Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET) accredited program in the United States or designated equivalents from Canada or Mexico, the Washington Accord, or the list of substantially equivalent as documented by ABET
- Requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, with typical engineering experience ranging from 6 to 10 years
- There is a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) requirement up to 4 years post-graduation at time of offer and confirmed by transcript;beyond four years from graduation, engineering experience will supersede GPA as a requirement for hire
- Knowledge of Coordinate Measurement Machines, to include programming, components, and general operating requirements
- Knowledge of procedure writing and a general understanding of the USQ Process
- Experience working the Design Agencies and familiarity with common documentation requirements with the Design Agencies
