Job Posting for Full Charge Bookkeeper at Panther Heating & Cooling, Inc.

Job Title: Full Charge Bookkeeper

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Locations: 722 Corporate Blvd., Ste. 105, Rock Hill, SC 29730

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the accounting department
Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
Record daily transactions
Process accounts payable and receivable
Prepare deposits and reconcile company ledgers
Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed.
Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry trends and ensure compliance within the organization.
Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration
5 or more years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Sheets and accounting software. QuickBooks preferred.
Superb attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Physical Demands:

Regularly required to remain seated in a normal position for long periods of time
Regularly required to walk about
Regularly required to maintain balance while walking, standing, crouching, or running
Routinely required to reach up and out with hands and arms
constantly communicates with internal and external customers in person and via telephone. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Regularly required to use hands to grasp objects, type, pick up objects, move objects, or hold objects
Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
Occasionally required to lift up to 15 pounds and carry a distance of 10 feet
Occasionally required to push and/or pull up to 15 pounds a distance of 10 feet
Routinely required to stand for long periods of time
Constantly identifies and detects written information on equipment labels, written communication, forms and other labels/documents
Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery such as copy machine and calculator.
