School Lunch Delivery Driver
Overview: Join our dynamic team as a School Lunch Delivery Driver, where you'll play a crucial role in making and delivering fresh, hot pizzas to local schools. The school lunch driver helps with pizza production, checks all products for accuracy against quality standards, and delivers products to schools promptly and in top condition. This fast-paced position is a great opportunity for someone looking to work part-time in the mornings to noon. Flexibility and reliable transportation are key, as occasional schedule adjustments may be necessary to accommodate team needs.
Key Duties
- Arrive between 7:00 am and 9:00 am to help with pizza production
- Prepare Pizzas
- Stock/Restock Products in Make Line
- Fold/Stock Boxes
- Cleaning and restocking for regular business
- Deliver Bulk deliveries to schools (earn delivery reimbursements & tips)
- Typically, off the clock between 11am and 12:30 pm depending on order volume or school schedule.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties including pre-delivery vehicle preparation, learning the delivery area, checking orders for quality and accuracy, following proper delivery procedures; providing quality customer service through positive and professional interaction with customers, and acting with a sense of urgency in everything they do. Perform other assigned workstation duties including making quality products, preparing ingredients and taking orders.
- Deliver school orders, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to school bell schedules. Maintain the company's professional image and follow specific instructions provided during each delivery. Safely navigate and conduct deliveries on school grounds, observing all safety regulations and school policies.
- Work as part of a team and assist each other by being on time for their shift, supporting other workstations during their shift and completing all closing duties, including cleaning, at the end of each shift. Enhance the company’s image by complying with uniform and appearance standards. Contribute to an atmosphere of teamwork, energy and fun.
- Accurately process order paperwork and payment transactions, execute cash management duties, and use the FOCUS System. Support sales efforts by suggestively selling to increase the check average when taking an order and distributing door hangers during every shift. Protect the company’s assets by maintaining organized, safe, and clean work areas; comply with safety and security standards at all times.
Key Ingredients
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Must have a driver’s license valid under the laws of the state(s) where the team member works, proof of insurance, reliable vehicle and the ability to drive
