The VP Operations Excellence w
orks with both Franchise and Corporate restaurant operations to improve overall unit economics at the store level. This position will evaluate opportunities within the operations P&L and develop short and long-term strategies to remove waste, create efficiencies, and improve bottom line profitability of all restaurants. This position will be tasked with creating a roadmap to improving revenue growth and overall profitability. The VP of Unit Economics will partner directly with the VP of franchise operations and the VP of corporate restaurants to measure the results of national & divisional initiatives related to corporate operations and franchisee operating unit development, operations, people, training, marketing, sales and profit. Ensures a superior partnership between corporate, corporate operations and franchise business units all while exceeding company goals, upholding core values, operational quality standards and while protecting and growing

Duties and Responsibilities
Works with the restaurant operations team to identify opportunities to improve profitability on the restaurant P&L, including but not limited to just FLM
Provides ongoing operational support to ensure healthy financial models to sustain solid net opening growth.
Ensures the effective planning and execution of LSM efforts for all corporate stores by working with the local marketing teams to ensure strategies align and by ensuring creative local & national ideas drive profitable transactions for both corporate & franchise restaurants, alike.
Grow market share with aggressive efforts causing competitor instability and
long term
closures.
Create cross functional support strategies within Global OST to drive international profitability and unit growth.
Continue to work cross-functionally with all departments to identify cost savings initiatives and efficiencies to drive unit growth and more profitable openings.
Seeks feedback from and provides clear, concise, and informative communication to division's team members, managers, operating partners and franchisees; provides appropriate feedback to SVP, Operations, and other company personnel as necessary, on relevant issues.
· Evaluates industry and business trends for potential impact on operations; identifies key business opportunities (
e.g.
new business segments, acquisitions, etc.) and potential threats; seeks business opportunities and alliances with appropriate organizations to drive division's profitability.
