Paperless Environments is seeking a Senior Front-End/React Developer to join our dynamic team! The Senior React developer will design, implement, and deliver new features & functionality for the SaaS version of our desktop software. The individual in this role will work alongside other highly motivated teammates within the web and mobile application development team. This position can be based out of our HQ in Baton Rouge, LA, in our Portland, OR, office, or remote.
What You Will Do:
- Build out new features from the ground up writing clean, scalable code
- Design, code, and test business systems to meet requirements
- Build new systems using React, JavaScript and other related technologies such as HTML and CSS
- Work alongside other developers on cross-functional teams to build and expand on React.JS architecture
- Develop new functionality on existing software products
- Work with connecting front end architecture into back end and Azure Cloud services
- Responsible for successful completion of code deliverables within projects
- Involved in the various phases of the SDLC
- Work alongside development leadership to help determine scope and direction of new features
What We're Looking For:
- 4 years of front-end software development experience
- 4 years of experience in React JS
- 4 years of experience in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- 2 years of experience working with REST APIs
- A strong sense of good design patterns and coding practices
- An analytical mind for approaching and solving problems logically
- Experience collaborating across departments and teams to evaluate and improve processes and reporting
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud services
- Thorough understanding of and experience with structured software development methodologies including design, development, and testing in an Agile environment
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or 5-7 years of equivalent work experience
- Experience with GIT and VSCode
- UI/UX design experience
- Document management, ERP, or accounting software experience
