Assistant Site Director - Kids Club
As an Assistant Site Director, under the supervision of a Site Director, you'll have the opportunity to use your strong leadership skills and positivity to create a safe and fun environment for elementary aged children in our before and after school program - Kids Club.
Responsibilities for an Assistant Site Director include ensuring the needs and safety of all children are properly met, being responsible for assisting in supervising the implementation of activities, programs, and help maintain site records and supplies. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for children, excellent customer service skills, and an understanding of the State of Nebraska child care rules and regulations.
The Assistant Site Director will substitute as a Site Director when the Site Director is not available.
KEY DUTIES:
- Supervising children before and school while maintaining a safe and fun environment
- Responsible for helping with planning and implementing all daily site activities
- Assist in managing all site staff
- Oversee Child Care Subsidy records
- Prepare weekly food orders
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Have a Child Development Associate Credential and 1500 verified clock hours of experience in organized group activities for school-age children;
- Have a high school diploma or GED and 1500 verified clock hours of experience in organized group activities or care for school-age children
- Strong leadership and professional communication skills
- Demonstrate ability to maintain a high level of integrity, privacy, and confidentiality
