Summary

Event Sales Manager Job Summary

The Par 5 Resort is seeking an outgoing, motivated Event Sales Manager to fill our venue calendar.

In this role, your primary tasks will involve identifying, attracting, and connecting with potential clients. You will benefit greatly if you have the ability to embrace unconventional ideas, pursue creative solutions, and think like a ninja. ” Ninjas innovate. You will also be negotiating contracts and completing paperwork for the booking that outlines their needs as well as the needs for each department involved, bar, kitchen, hotel, and golf courses.

This performance-based sales position allows you to capitalize on your success.

Event Sales Manager Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage (and fill) our events calendar
  • Determine sales goals with owners
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Serve as our primary point of contact for large events and parties
  • Maintain BEO (banquet event order) paperwork for each booking
  • Collaborate with our chef on menu requests
  • Assist with training and managing Banquet staff
  • Use our vendor management system to fill additional staffing needs
  • Negotiate contracts and assist with accounts receivable
  • Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials
  • Develop promotions or specialty packages to entice new customers
