JOB SUMMARY
Seeking mid-level Network Engineer to support organization’s enterprise data network. Role will act as subject matter expert on enterprise network platform and support the enterprise as part of a highly skilled network team. Will work in daily operations support and project roles. This role will serve as a member of the network team. This role will provide design and architectural support, serve as point of escalation for all network related issues, and be expected to mentor junior team members.


QUALIFICATIONS
The Network Engineer III requires a Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years’ experience – or equivalent combination of education and/or experience – in:

• NSE4- Fortinet Firewalls- smaller companies (Palo, Juniper, Checkpoint)- fully integrated with routers and switches (40% of job)
• Routing & Switching- Cisco (60% of job)
• Wireless- any type- Aruba, Meraki, Cisco
• Aruba Clearpass- NAC
• Enterprise routing and switching within and between enterprise campuses, datacenters, and branch sites. 
• Deployment and maintenance of network firewalls, VPNs (IPSEC and SSL), SDWAN, access control lists, and network segmentation 
• Controller-based and autonomous wireless networking for campuses and branch sites 
• Load balancing of enterprise workloads using application delivery controllers
• Troubleshooting network performance using multiple monitoring and diagnostic toolsets to analyze traffic and provide capacity planning and trouble remediation.
• Maintenance of IP Addresses, DNS, and domains of an enterprise 
• Using an enterprise-grade network monitoring tool 
• Citrix Load balancing Nice to have

TRAVEL REQUIRED
Minimal travel is required for this position (up to 20% of the time and on a domestic basis).
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
·       Deploy and support large, complex LAN/WANs with application quality, resilience, redundancy, security, and scalability as the tenets of the process.

·       Deploy and support large, complex firewall/VPN infrastructures. 

·       Perform analysis of networking problems, as well as provide high-level response management 

·       Ensure network redundancy, high availability, and failover testing across all enterprise WAN connectivity 

·       Demonstrate intermediate-level knowledge of network topologies, protocols, standards and conditions 

·       Ensure changes to network configurations are made with minimal down-time and in accordance with change management policies

·       Responsible for configuration standards and support documentation 

·       Reduce security risk by securing network platforms from vulnerabilities and maintain patching cycles of all network software and hardware 

·       Ability to collaborate and work well with peers, across teams, and with customers in developing solutions and problem resolution 

·       Ability to work with business partners in the selection, procurement, implementation, and support of public and private circuits
