Job Summary

This position is primarily responsible for processing data for all aspects of loan operations.

General Responsibilities

  • Processes paperwork for customer loan payments and advances.
  • Processes paid loans.
  • Books loan in data system.    
  • Reviews daily reports and reconciles the department’s General Ledgers.
  • Answers phones and assists customers with routine inquiries regarding payoffs and other loan details.
  • Performs variety of duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures.
  • Assists in servicing and maintenance of items as needed.
  • Assists in insurance monitoring.
  • Assists in month-end reporting and procedures as needed.
  • Uses office computer for data input and other activities and orders credit reports.
  • Responds to customer questions as they arise.
  • Updates monthly department reports.
  • Assists other personnel in loan area.

Experience and/or Education Requirements:

  • Must have general banking knowledge and experience. Three years’ experience in administrative commercial lending operations is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. Associate degree is preferred.
  • Must have computer knowledge and experience, especially with MS Word and MS Excel.
  • Must be detailed oriented, have analytical and good time management skills, ability to work independently, and strong customer service skills.
