JOB SUMMARY:
Under the Supervision of the Office Supervisor, the Office Clerk is to provide quality customer service and process customer orders over the phone, fax, and website. Office Clerk is responsible for processing customer orders in a timely and accurate manner while maintaining a high degree of professionalism and customer service. Some duties include, but are not limited to, assisting customers with their needs, coordinating internal activities with the Admin Assistant, deliveries, neighbor islands, and sales associates and completion and processing of orders and transactions, including cash handling.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent. One year customer service experience, excellent communication, and listening skills. Competent computer skills, experience with word, excel, 10 key by touch required, and AS400 preferred. Local knowledge of streets and towns a must and detailed orientated.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Most work will be indoors in an air conditioning and non-air conditioning setting and occasionally outdoors or in warehouse settings. Attendance at trainings, both in Hawaii and on the mainland, may be required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Regular attendance is required for the position
- Manage phones and assist with customer inquiries regarding orders
- Assist Sales Reps with customer inquiries by phone
- Manage and resolve customer’s complaints and concerns
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships and open, accurate and timely two-way communications with customers and team members
- Provide quality customer service
- Assist with data entry of orders
- Collect daily delivery invoices and payments
- Adjust discrepancies as needed
- Prepare daily deposits, balance and reconcile invoices
- Order and distributes operations uniforms
- Maintains and schedules mechanic and operations standard requirements
- Order and transfer warehouse supplies for all locations
- Assist Office Supervisor with Will Call/Operations clerical functions as needed
- Provide ongoing feedback to other departments and management
- Maintain work area in a neat, orderly and sanitary manner
- Correctly and promptly follow specified company procedures required for the appropriate handling of all Emergency Responses and Safety practices
- Perform other related Order Desk and warehouse duties as required or assigned
