What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deburr Technician - 1st Shift position at Paragon Medical - Indy?
SUMMARY OF POSITION: Responsible for all activities for metal finishing of machined medical implants and instruments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Polishing, deburring, and in-process cleaning of machined parts
- Inspect product to blueprint specifications
- Utilizes and completes documentation as required
- Understand and follow policy and procedures
- Ensure general maintenance and upkeep of equipment
- Comply with ISO policies and procedures
- Troubleshoot problems associated with equipment, tooling, and processes
OCCASIONAL DUTIES:
- Assist in other areas as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- Once employee demonstrates competency in position, he/she may be required to train others in similar roles
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
SKILLS: Attention to detail. Ability to use microscope. Good hand and eye coordination. Ability to read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers. Light lifting while bending and stooping. Ability to stand up throughout the day and up to two hours at a time.
