Light Assembler
Position: Assembly Operator
The Assembly Operator is responsible for the preparation, assembly, and packaging of various water filtration components and systems. This position works under the direction of the production supervisor who provides detailed work instructions.
Assembly Operator Specific Job Function:
- Under the guidance of the Production Supervisor, performs assembly duties that include material prep, assembly of product, integrity tests, conformity checks, and equipment set up and start up as required.
- Adhere to detailed work instructions and follow standard operating procedures.
- Perform initial product assembly.
- Inspect product by following required QC procedures.
- Packaging of finished goods according to drawing specifications.
- Troubleshoot common production issues and report to supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assembly Operator Requirements:
- Ability to write clear and understandable process log entries, test results, measurements, and observations.
- Ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
- Ability to measure and record data as required.
- Proven ability to read, comprehend, and follow technical work instructions and standard operating procedures in the English language.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years working in an assembly manufacturing environment.
- Must be available to work overtime as required
All employees are expected to provide assistance and support to other functions as needed to meet the company’s goals and objectives.
This is a full-time position, with the primary work location in Oldsmar, FL. The workplace is consistent with a manufacturing environment. The noise level is typical with machinery noises, telephones, personal interruptions, and other background noises. Must be able to pass any additional requirements outlined by Paragon Water Systems. The position will require standing, sitting, reaching, and walking for extended periods of time. Must have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. All employees will wear all appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required.
