SHIFT: No WeekendsSCHEDULE: Full-time
Schedule: Full-time Mixed (Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 9:30a-10p)

- Welcome patients and family members in a professional manner providing exemplary customer service
- Contact the nursing staff for emergency medical needs and answer patient and visitor questions
- Interview patients at workstation or at bedside to obtain all necessary account information.
- Ensure charts are completed and accurate
- Verify all insurance and obtain pre-certification/authorization
- Calculate and collect patient liable amount
- Adhere to AIDET patient communication guidelines: Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, and Thank You
- Pushing computer cart on wheels while registeringpatients during the duration of the shift (which could be 7-10 hours).
- Contact may involve dealing with angry, upset or emotional people.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- One year of related experience preferred.
- Requires prolonged sitting/standing for long periods of time (depending on the duration of the shift, this could be 7- 10 hours), some bending, stooping, walking and stretching.
