Position: Pre-Weigh Operator
Position Summary:
The Pre-Weigh Operator works in the shipping and receiving department including preparing batch kits for production process. Reviews inventory locations, prepares batch sheets. Assists with shipping and receiving; loading and unloading trucks, , receiving incoming raw materials, and working with all departments to ship any required materials.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Preparing batch kits for production.
· Receives incoming shipments including, raw materials, returned finished goods, scrap wax, and packages.
· Prepares paperwork for batches, received materials and shipped goods.
· Adheres to all established company and corporate policies, procedures, and governmental regulations pertaining to plant safety, environmental issues, and quality standards.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent graduation certificate. Warehouse or shipping and receiving experience will be preferred.
Other Qualifications:
· Personal integrity and ability to conduct themselves and their job responsibilities in an ethical and non-discriminatory manner.
· Excellent math skills required.
· Determination and assertiveness to accomplish goals and objectives.
· Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
· Able to perform physical aspects of manufacturing duties such as using hand tools, regular lifting and bending.
· Ability to work over-time when required.
· Ability to safely operate a forklift.
