What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Administrator position at Paramelt?
This multi-functional professional position performs a variety of office and other related duties to assist the Warehouse Supervisor and team at our Muskegon facility.
Primary Responsibilities
- Various administrative duties, such as; receiving raw materials, inventory management and filing.
- Assist with inventory control in shipping and receiving department.
- Purchases supplies for the manufacturing team.
- Participates with cycle count activities.
- Prepare, review and analyze various reports and make recommendations to support and organize department operations.
- Effectively communicate with team members and other departments to quickly resolve issues.
- Communicate with shipping & receiving team and purchasing regarding schedule and inventory management.
- Work with management to streamline and create process improvements.
- Assist Sales and Customer Service with finished product questions.
- Performs as back-up to all warehouse team members.
Minimum Education and Experience
High school graduate or equivalent required, preferably with a college degree. Experience in order fulfillment and logistics processes required and office management experience preferred.
Other Qualifications
- Well organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to multi-task and manage/prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Extensive experience computers.
- Ability to create and analyze data reports.
- Sales data analysis and inventory management skills required.
- Basic understanding of Oracle (ERP) systems.
- Strong Math and English skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Operates fork-lift and truck with skill and safety.
- Ability to travel to other company sites when necessary.
