For more than sixty years, Paramount Beauty has specialized in partnering with vendors and salons to provide business solutions for distribution, marketing, sales, service and education.
Paramount Beauty is currently seeking a purchasing assistant to work in our corporate headquarters in Hauppauge, NY to ensure communication between purchasing, marketing and sales.
Responsibilities:
- Handles the day-to-day activities of the purchasing department
- Ensures competent quality execution of all regular purchasing duties and administrative works.
- Maintains complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
- Prepares receiving reports
- Supports relevant departments with product updates, price increases and stock status
- Coordinates with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
- Responsible for the preparation and process of purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Core Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
