Job Posting for Beautician at Paramount Senior Living
Paramount Senior Living at Cabell Midland is looking to hire a dedicated, compassionate and caring part-time hair stylist to provide quality services to our residents.
This is a part-time position that offers a flexible schedule.
This position will be an independent contractor (1099) and not an employee of Paramount Senior Living.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Shampoo, cut, dye and style hair.
- Work with razors, trimmers, and other tools to achieve desired looks.
- Give clients advice on how to maintain a hairstyle or look.
- Provide clients customer service.
- Ensure work areas are clean, disinfected, and in alignment with applicable health and safety regulations.
- Adhere to all protocols implemented by Paramount Senior Living including wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), cleaning and disinfecting.
- Work with the facility to manage client scheduling and appointments.
- Completes other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.
Requirements:
- WV Cosmetology License and Liability Insurance is required.
- Must have current Liability Insurance.
- Experience working as a hair stylist in a salon setting.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Successfully pass background check.
- Experience providing hair services to individuals with behavioral health is preferred, but not required.
