Your Impactful Role:
- Provide compassionate nursing care adhering to nursing assistant duties under a licensed nurse
- Assist residents with daily living activities like bathing, grooming, and oral care
- Promptly respond to call lights to ensure resident needs are met
- Report any observed resident condition changes to the charge nurse
- Ensure residents are prepared for meals and provide feeding assistance as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Prepare, administer, and chart oral, topical, and suppository medications (after med tech training)
- Train and mentor new resident care assistants on best practices
Med Tech Training Path:
- After 90 days and meeting criteria, you can be considered for the Medication Technician (Med Tech) role
- Comprehensive training provided for the advanced Med Tech position
- Upon meeting competency assessments and policies, you'll be eligible for this role
Your Qualifications:
- CNA license preferred but not required
- Positive team player with passion for caring for seniors
- Military experience is highly valued, but not mandatory
- Long-term care experience is a plus, but not required
