Overview & Responsibilites
- Developing content reporting analytics packages (periodic and ad hoc) for production, programming, and marketing
- Crafting and sharing detailed performance measurements on content investments with an emphasis on continuous improvement
- Provide compelling, data-based insights that positively influence strategic direction and overall decision making
- Build, track, and measure content investments and performance measurements
- Partner with research and BI team to establish a correlation between content spending, utilization, ratings, and revenues
- Provide Content & Marketing monthly/quarterly analytical packages to Brand Finance, Strategy and Business teams
- Deliver timely, accurate, and effective analysis and reporting of financial and operational performance
- Drive global portfolio analytics using current systems / new technologies for day-to-day analysis and reporting
- Drive consistency/standardization on forecasting process and system usage
- Manage a direct team of 6 people (Domestic)
- 10 years of finance experience desired
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent certification preferred
- Superior Microsoft Excel skills including detailed and automated modeling abilities
- Excellent budgeting, analytical, and strategic planning experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to communicate and successfully work with senior operating and finance executives
- Ability to balance multiple priorities efficiently with strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- A passion for effectively leading teams. investing in employee development, and implementing new ways to stretch, include, and nurture your team
- Knowledge of SAP/Oracle/Longview/TM1 or similar system
- Knowledge of the Entertainment Industry is a plus
