What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Engineer position at Parata Systems LLC?
As a core member of the Manufacturing Engineering team, this person will maintain, support, and improve existing manufacturing processes. Includes preventive maintenance system, equipment calibration system, new equipment, Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ). The duration of this project is 12 months.
Essential activities of this position
• Responsible for Manufacturing Engineering support of Manufacturing Factory.
• Maintains, support, and improves building systems (i.e. HVAC, DI Water, ESD room controls, etc.)
• Provides support on some Site PMO projects.
• Has in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in own job family. Applies knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations. Works independently with minimal guidance. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
• Manage a variety of complex issues in associated projects, plans and schedules project implementation.
• Provide technical direction.
• Design new or improved products or process systems.
• Approve protocols and support documentation (engineering change requests, system change forms, etc.) to secure project release. This is a "technical approver" position.
• Has developed knowledge and skills in own job family. Applies knowledge and skills to a variety of standard activities. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge
Qualifications of this position
• B.S. Degree in Engineering Sciences or Industrial Technology, or significant related experience.
• 5 years of engineering experience
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Must be well versed in engineering disciplines.
• Knowledge of GMPs, purchasing practices and process validation.
• Must be self-motivated, have good interpersonal skills,
• capable of analyzing and solving complex problems through
• innovative thought and experience.
• Ability to design and implement in own area of expertise.

• This position will be subject to mostly controlled but potential varying internal environmental conditions, including changes in temperature and noise that are within acceptable safety levels common to high tech assembly environment.
• Work may involve long-term standing, sitting and frequent walking throughout areas such as the assembly area, testing area or machine shop as well as navigating common hazards related to these areas.
• Must be able to carry, lift and push/pull up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Weekend and overtime work may be occasionally required.
• Additional physical duties may be required as necessary.
