Mobile Technician / Refrigerated Trailer Technician / Diesel Truck

MOBILE DIESEL TECHNICIANS to perform maintenance at dedicated customers location.

Location: Pardo Fleet Solutions – 106 Sewell Road, Sewell, NJ

Description:

• Duties will include repair and diesel engine diagnostics on commercial vehicle
• Determines vehicle condition by conduction inspections and diagnostic tests; identify worn and damaged parts
• Performs preventive maintenance
• Vehicle component lubrication and replacement
• Electrical system repairs
• Cooling system maintenance
• Perform Basic vehicle diagnostic
• Verifies vehicle performance by conduction test drives; adjusting controls and systems
• Complies with Federal and State vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards
• Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock and placing orders with parts manager

Requirements:

• Perform preventive maintenance services
• Must road test vehicles as necessary
• Perform complex repairs with no or minimal supervision
• Demonstrate the ability to access and use internal and external maintenance documents
• Complete facility maintenance duties
• Interact with drivers, and supervisors to properly determine nature of complaint and diagnosis once assigned a task.
• Advise shop management and other technicians on shop repairs
• Work in accordance with all federal/ state and corporate compliance guidelines (i.e., safety, DOT, etc.)
• Must own necessary tools for the requirements of the position

Pay: $30.00 - $39.00 per hour
