Parent Child Development, a leader in Early and Head Start Childhood Education, West Point VA

This position is responsible for promoting family wellness and parent involvement in all aspects of the program: assist families in the development and implementation of a plan to improve the quality of their lives; and serve as a liaison between the classroom, home and the community on behalf of Early and Head Start children and families and other related duties as assigned.

Required education: BA Degree in Social Work/ Human Services, Psychology or related field including coursework in the principles of social work, child development, counseling or psychology preferred. Bilingual in Spanish preferred. Minimum 2 years’ experience in family social services setting and experience with community resources. Knowledge of early childhood education preferred. Excellent verbal, demonstrated problem-solving skills.'

This is a 10-Month position.

Pay: $14 - $16/HR
