The Sr. Scientific Specialist/ Site Engagement can work remotely from any location in the US or Canada. Must have the ability to travel both domestic/international.
Act as content expert and lead the delivery of assigned programs/projects within account team, interacting directly with client and KOLs
Demonstrates innovative and creative high-quality content development, tailored for each study
Applies to all formats of MedCom’s communication outputs
Clinical trial delivery experience (phase 2 -IV) or example of transferable skills
Experience writing executive summaries/post-meeting reports for steering committees or advisory board meetings
Experience with slide review for symposium and/or advisory committee meetings.
Experience supporting the writing and creation of site engagement documents and/or patient recruitment slides, posts, etc.
Well-developed motivational and leadership qualities demonstrated within a scientific and editorial team
Solid scientific background, a depth and breadth of writing and editorial experience
In depth understanding of clinical trial protocols
Acquire and maintain expert knowledge of relevant therapy areas, client products, and objectives
Take ownership of assigned projects and programs and take independent action to resolve complex technical issues to ensure excellent project delivery
Work in partnership with Scientific Team Lead to ensure quality delivery, client satisfaction, and account growth
Liaise effectively with clients and external authors/opinion leaders, and study team members, during the lifecycle of assigned projects or programs
Work directly on projects or provide expert guidance of projects/programs being undertaken by
other team members
Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction within projects to ensure efficient delivery and high-quality outputs
Comprehensive understanding of the organization’s service offerings and processes Take prominent role in new business development activities

Advanced computer and Internet skills, including knowledge of MS applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Education
Degree and a higher degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Medicine (BSc, BA, PharmD, PhD, MD)
Minimum Work Experience
Prior experience in a similar role within a medical communications agency environment
