ERP System Analyst

The ERP System Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing the company’s ERP program, Epicor Kinetic, and configuring the required software according to the company’s needs. This role will manage and maintain the electronic exchange of information between our company and external trading partners. This position will support IT within the organization and act as a point of contact for related ERP questions and escalated items.

What you’ll do
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new processes and systems that will help improve overall business operations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to the ERP system, including system design, training materials, workflows, and procedures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
  • Perform system testing, data analysis, data validation, and integration testing as required.
  • Designed, updated, and implemented security and roles within ERP.
  • Work with internal staff and third-party vendors to update and communicate environment maintenance schedules, refresh schedules, and outages.
  • Develop ERP KPIs metric reports and dashboard views and monitor service details and service notifications related to patching/critical updates/downtime.
  • Generate ideas for solving problems to create value across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain EDI maps, including translation rules and processes, to facilitate electronic data exchange.
  • Ensure that data transfers to subsequent support interfaces and monitor EDI processes to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Validate, import, and export data
  • Other duties as assigned.

Your Background
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred; a minimum of 5 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Preferred candidates with experience working for companies in the manufacturing and distribution industries.
  • Experience with Epicor Kinetic is preferred
  • Experience with EDI data files and configurations.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to work with all levels of an organization.
  • Superior communication skills (verbal and written) with strong attention to detail.
