You Can Expect To:
As a People Operations Coordinator, you will work collaboratively as part of a national team, local team, and with almost every department in our Corporate Services group. You will have the opportunity to work with bright and driven team members throughout the company. You will also partner with the local market’s Executive Leadership Team by learning and supporting the mechanics of our business. In this role, you can expect to:
- Serve as a local culture advocate; this person will build a strong knowledge of company culture, core values, and employee development processes to elevate and support the market and individual employees
- Serve as a partner to our Office Managing Vice President to support people operational functions within the local market
- Partner with relevant stakeholders on culture initiatives
- Plan local market events and coordinate national events
- Facilitate and support office meetings on an ongoing basis
- Manage and communicate various HR-related functions for the local market such as onboarding, compliance and policy updates, process rollouts and off boarding
- Facilitate our employee performance review process
- Oversee all things office facilities: supplies, space planning, furniture, conference rooms, and repairs
- Monitor external threats (weather, civil unrest, etc.) and ensure a safety plan is executed for the local market
- Use various software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentation software
- Provide general administrative support
- Advance your career through clearly defined expectations, mentorship, and regular opportunities for advancement
We Look For:
The successful candidate possesses the following critical qualifications:
- 2- 4 years of work experience in a similar role, preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work with senior leaders
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to exercise good judgement and discretion, maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
- Proven ability to work independently and within teams, collaborate successfully
- Ability to organize and prioritize with limited guidance and meet deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and solid time management
- Sound prioritization and judgment
- Ability to work in a fast paced, shifting, quickly changing environment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- In-depth understanding of entire MS Office suite
- Bachelor’s Degree or comparable experience
- Legally authorized to work for any company in the United States without sponsorship
