Job Summary:
The Host is responsible for providing a welcoming environment to our guests as the initial point of contact in our full service dining restaurants. This role should have solid organizational and people skills to make sure our guests have a positive dining experience from the moment they arrive till their departure.

Expected Pay Range: $7.25 - $12/ hour tips
- If hired into a tipped position, guaranteed to make a minimum of $20 / hour inclusive of tips
- Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Winter Seasonal
- Skill Level: Entry
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Welcome guests to the venue
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Manage reservations
- Assists managers in controlling the flow of guests, seating guests promptly.
- Escort customers to assigned dining area
- Provide menus and announce server’s name to guests
- Thank customers upon their departure
- Coordinate with management and staff about available seating options
- Maintain a clean reception area and clean menus
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
- Answer incoming calls and address customers’ queries
Job Qualifications:
- Able to stand for 4 hours – required.
- Fluent in English - required.
- Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person) – required.
- Demonstrable customer-service skills – required.
- Able to work weekends and holidays - required.
- Previous Host/Hostess experience - preferred.
Additional requirements for hires under age 18:
Submission of a Parental Consent Form upon hire, along with other applicable documents required by state law; such as a work permit, physician's note, and/or proof of birthdate
The expected pay range is $20.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
