JOB SUMMARY: Spring Youth Soccer Site Supervisor
Under the direction and supervision of the 2024 Spring Youth Soccer program supervisor, performs various tasks to provide an organized and fun environment for youth sport participants.
Season runs from April 13th to June 1st.
Games are held Saturdays between 9am – 2pm and Wednesdays 5-7pm.

EXAMPLES OF TYPICAL JOB DUTIES
Prepare the field for game play prior to the scheduled start time
Communicate with program supervisor, referee staff, parents and coaches regarding presence and needed items
Communicate with program supervisor on field/weather conditions
Monitor the site during the activity
Ensure coaches, parents and players know where to go
Ensure referee staff is ready for the session and performing responsibilities correctly
Ensure that games start and end on time
Clean up fields after games have finished and return equipment to proper storage
Ensures that safety is exercised throughout all recreational activities
Recruits volunteers to help coach youth programs
Officiate soccer games if necessary

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Eighteen (18) years and older
Ability to organize and supervise staff and programs
Knowledge of soccer or desire to learn
Skilled in interpersonal communication, both verbally and in
writing
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, run, talk and hear.
The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle or operate objects, controls, or tools. Ability to climb and pull own weight in and out of equipment
Must be able to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move more than 10 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
