JOB SUMMARY:
Candidates wishing to be considered for the Retail Sales Associate position preferably would have had prior Sales experience, ideally within a Client-Facing or Appliance Sales environment. However, we will consider all applicants with a positive attitude who are willing to learn. Retail Sales Associate (Appliances) candidates must also have reliable transportation, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Retail Sales Associates (Appliances) will work with customers to assess their needs, selling appliances/home electronics or furniture and mattresses in our Retail Store.
- Proactively engage with customers, reading cues and responding effectively in a helpful and professional manner.
- Retail Sales Associates (Appliances) will work with customers to assess needs, providing them with their full scope of applicable products.
- Provide customers with excellent customer service skills, engaging with customers to increase Retail Sales.
- Retail Sales Associates (Appliances) will demonstrate operational agility as a Retail Sales Associate.
- Uncover any additional customer needs, making room for increased Retail Sales.
- Retail Sales Associates (Appliances) will provide assistance to Retail Sales Team as needed.
- Meet and exceed Sales Goals/Expectations during scheduled shifts.
- Retail Sales Associates (Appliances) will participate in all Sales Team Meetings and Training Sessions.
- Keep customers updated regularly on Retail Sales Orders and any Order Status Changes to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
- Retail Sales Associates (Appliances) will expand knowledge of all Retail Store Products, current advertising, and Marketing Initiatives.
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned to the Retail Sales Associates (Appliances) as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior Experience Preferred but not Necessary.
- Ideal Retail Sales Associates (Appliances) candidates will have prior Client-Facing Retail Sales experience.
- College Degreeis preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with an outgoing, social demeanor.
- Must have reliable Transportation.
- Excellent communication(Both writtenand verbal) skills.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a Team Atmosphere.
- Must possess excellent time-management and organizational skills.
