CNA Patient Escort
Park Nursing Home is actively seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to serve as Patient Escorts for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Rockaway Park, NY.
Park Nursing Home is located directly next to the boardwalk. The location of our facility takes advantage of being down the block from the shuttle station from the A line.
DUTIES:
- Escort residents to and from appointments
- Observing and monitoring Residents.
- Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse.
- Taking care of a resident's personal hygience, including bed bath, shaving, etc.
- Setting up meal trays and documenting food/fluid intake.
- Making beds and keeping the residents space clean and tidy.
- Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
- Maintain confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid New York State CNA Certification.
- Occasional heavy lifting may be required.
- Ability to follow the Plan of Care precisely.
- Must be able to work as a team member
- Valid photo id
